Say hello to Ortlieb’s new waterproof handlebar bag, for multi-day bikepacking or long days out on the bike.
So, what’s different to their handlebar rolls? Well, this is a more rigid bag that makes use of a quick-release system (what they’re calling a ‘bar-lock cord attachment’) – a hybrid between soft bikepacking luggage and more of a cradle mounting system. At 11L, it’s a great size bag – and with two sets of straps, there is plenty of options for carrying slightly less and compressing the bag.
Despite the initial look and feel, the bar-lock card fixing/attachment system is super sturdy on all terrain – ideal for those gravel bikepacking adventures, and all those parmesan wedges you need carrying…
